Arthritis Balm Relief- By no means does this cure Arthritis, it addresses the sensation of pain locally and temporarily, not the underlying joint damage or inflammatory processes that cause the disease itself.

Ingredients- Hemp Seed Oil, Cayenne, Turmeric, Ginger, Vitamin E and Candelilla Wax

Instructions
  1. Perform a Patch Test: Before widespread use, apply a small amount to a test patch of skin to check for any extreme reaction or sensitivity.
  2. Application: (a little goes a long way), massage the balm gently but thoroughly into the sore muscles and joints until absorbed.
  3. Frequency: Apply the balm up to four times daily.
  4. Consistency is Key: For chronic pain conditions like arthritis, daily, consistent use is necessary. It may take anywhere from a few days to two weeks of regular application before you experience significant pain relief.
  5. Targeting Hand Pain: If applying to arthritic hands, consider applying the balm at night and then wearing cotton gloves to enhance penetration and prevent accidental contact with sensitive areas.
  6. Storage: Store the balm in a cool, dark place, such as the refrigerator, and use it within a few months for the best results, as homemade products have a shorter shelf life than commercial ones.

Warnings
  • External Use Only: The balm is strictly for external use on the skin and should never be ingested.
  • Avoid Sensitive Areas: Never apply the balm to the face, eyes, open cuts, wounds, broken skin, or other sensitive areas/mucous membranes, as the cayenne can cause a burning sensation.
  • Wash Hands Thoroughly: Wash your hands immediately and thoroughly with hot, soapy water after each application. Using disposable gloves during application can help ensure safety.
  • Do Not Use with Heat: Avoid using a heating pad on the treated area, as this can intensify any sensation.
  • Sun Sensitivity: Capsaicin, an ingredient in cayenne, can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Apply sunscreen over exposed, treated skin when outdoors.
  • Staining: The turmeric in the balm can stain clothing and other fabrics.
  • Consult a Healthcare Provider:
    • Consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant, nursing, or on blood-thinning medications.
    • If your condition worsens, you experience severe pain, swelling, or blistering, or do not see improvement, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
  • Keep Out of Reach: Store the balm in a secure location away from children and pets.
